Lottery Terms & Conditions

Prize:
Many distillers, large and small, produce limited quantities of unique and rare whiskies, rums, tequilas, and other products. From time to time, the Idaho State Liquor Division (ISLD) will conduct lottery drawings offering customers the opportunity to purchase these limited-quantity items.

Qualifying Entry:
In order to participate in a lottery for a specific product, individual customers (21 years of age or older) must enter the lottery through the ISLD website www.idaholiquor.com during the applicable period.

Entrants must be Idaho residents or active-duty military personnel stationed in Idaho.

Entry Dates and Times:
• Each lottery is open five (5) days, unless otherwise noted.
• The ISLD will publicize lottery product offerings via a promotional email.

How to Enter:
All entries are made via the www.idaholiquor.com website:
• Access to the lottery form will be provided with the product announcements.
• Only one entry per customer will be accepted into a single lottery.
• If multiple items are offered in a single lottery announcement, separate drawings will be held for each product.
• Entrants may opt into drawings for any or all items available in a single lottery.

Draw Dates:
• Draw dates vary depending on availability of product.

Official Rules:
• All entries must be made via the website www.idaholiquor.com.com.
• All entrants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Entrants must be an Idaho resident or active-duty military personnel stationed in Idaho. A valid Idaho identification will be required at the time the bottle is received. Military that do not have an Idaho ID should plan to provide proof of residency via a local utility bill with their name on it and a matching valid Military ID.
• Eligibility will be verified at the final point of sale by the customer providing an approved form of identification that is an exact match to the winning entrant’s name.
• Entire first, middle, and last names must be provided at time of entry. The winner’s name must be identical to the name on the identification presented at the time of purchase.
• Opportunities to purchase are not transferable.
• Only one entry per customer is allowed in a single lottery. This rule is strictly enforced.
• Duplicate or multiple entries will disqualify all entries. ISLD reserves the right to disqualify entries that it determines (at its sole discretion) to be in violation of the rules.
• Bottles must be purchased within 72 hours of receiving a link to purchase.
• Purchased bottles must be picked up from an ISLD outlet within 14 days of receiving notification that the item is ready for pick up.
• Unclaimed bottles will be entered into a re-draw.
• Winners will be chosen by random number generation of all eligible entrants and will be announced upon final verification by the Idaho State Liquor Division.

Notification of winner and claiming of prize:
• Entrants selected during the random drawing process will be notified with a “Rare Whiskey Release Lottery Winner” email including a link with instructions to claim the awarded item(s).
• Winners will have 72 hours from receipt of the Winner Notification email to complete the purchase.
• Winners must complete the purchases online. No in-store purchases will be accepted.
• Opportunities to purchase are not transferable.
• Only lottery winners will be notified. Non-winning entrants will not receive a communication from the ISLD.
• The product(s) will be shipped to the ISLD store that the customer selected on their entry form.
• After purchase, the winner will receive an email confirming the order and payment have been received.
• The next communication will indicate the order is processing. Please do not attempt to pick up the product at this time.
• The winner will receive a final email communication when the product is ready for pick up. This email is your purchase receipt and will be required to be presented with an eligible identification at the time of pick up. The receipt and ID must match EXACTLY.
• If the product remains unclaimed at the store beyond 14 days from the date of the Ready for Pick Up email notification, your purchase will be refunded, and the product awarded to the next winner drawn.
• If customer is found to be ineligible to purchase a lottery product, product will be awarded to the next winner drawn.

Miscellaneous:
• By entering the lottery, you are actively engaging with the Idaho State Liquor Division. Therefore, you will be automatically signed up for our newsletter, and if chosen as a winner, your information will be entered into our ecommerce platform for purchase.
• If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, you may not receive updates on future rare product drawings and rare product releases.

Disclaimer:

‘Official Rules’ are subject to change if fraud, technical failures, human error and/or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotional Lottery (“Lottery”), as determined by the Idaho State Liquor Division (“Division”) in its sole discretion.

Entrant agrees to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify the Division, against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) any damage to entrant’s cellular telephone, tablet, or computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with entering this Lottery; or (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize awarded in the Lottery, including but not limited to any claims for damage to property, personal injury, death or claims based on defamation, rights of privacy, rights of publicity or merchandise delivery.

False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible. The Division reserves the right to disqualify entries that it determines (at its sole discretion) to be fraudulent or in violation of the ‘Official Rules’. The Division is not responsible for any printing or typographical errors in these ‘Official Rules’ or any other materials associated with the Lottery. Entrants enter at their own risk, and the Division is not responsible for and shall not be liable for any condition caused by events beyond their control that may cause the Lottery to be disrupted or corrupted.
